By accessing or using SchemaScan at schemascan.io ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

SchemaScan is a free tool that fetches publicly accessible web pages and analyzes them for schema.org structured data markup. We provide an indicative score and report based on the page content at the time of analysis.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit URLs to pages you do not have permission to access or scan
  • Use the Service to conduct automated, high-volume scanning without prior written consent
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Misrepresent audit results to clients or third parties as official Google or Schema.org certifications

4. Accuracy and limitations

SchemaScan results are indicative only and do not constitute a guarantee of rich result eligibility, Google search ranking improvement, or compliance with any platform's structured data requirements. Schema.org specifications and Google's requirements change over time. Always verify results using Google's Rich Results Test.

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding of SchemaScan is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without express written permission.

6. Third-party services

The Service uses Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and EmailJS. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. SchemaScan is not affiliated with Google LLC or Schema.org.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE ACCURATE RESULTS.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCHEMASCAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

9. Modifications to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, where necessary, in a court of competent jurisdiction.
